In case you are not aware, this week marks the annual “Hate Crime Week” which is a national initiative to drive awareness and encourage reports of this wide-spread issue. This message will hopefully cover any questions you have regarding this topic, as well as signposting to various networks and areas to help you.

How do I report Hate Crime?There are multiple ways to allow you as a victim, or on behalf of a victim, to report hate crime. Call 999 if you fit into any of the following scenarios: there is an immediate danger to life someone is using violence or is threatening to be violent a crime is happening right now and the suspect is still at the scene If you have hearing or speech impairments: If you’ve pre-registered with the emergencySMS service, use our textphone service 18000 or text us on 999.
